Answer to Q10: c

Dehydration in DKA & HHNK is due to osmotic diuresis. The patient on dialysis will not have osmotic diuresis which the first patient will suffer. This is because the patient on dialysis will be anuric (except of course those without oliguria) . 

Ordinarily we rehydrate DKA & HHNK patients with large amounts of fluids. Thus one has to be careful in such patients or else over hydration can lead to pulmonary edema in such a situation.
