Health and diseases are distributed  unevenly among different sexes. Important differences are outlined.

Women in the US live longer than men. Perhaps the only country where they do not is India.

Various diseases affect women more  commonly and some affect men more commonly.

Ischemic heart disease affects  women,  on the average,   about 10-15 years after  it gets men.

Rheumatologic disorders affect women more   commonly (except Ankylosing spondylitis and poly-arteritis nodosa). M:F ratio in SLE is 1:9

Osteoporosis is much commoner in women.

Access  to  health-care is less  for women.

Ischemic heart disease  is  treated less aggressively in women than in comparable men.
